Roles & Responsibilities
Freelance technicians at ZYLAS may be involved in:
✔ Laser System Setup & Operation – Installing and calibrating laser projectors, safety systems, and control software.
✔ On-Site Technical Support – Troubleshooting during live events to ensure flawless performances.
✔ Programming & Effects Design – Assisting with cue programming (Pangolin, Beyond, or Laser Show Gen).
✔ Safety Compliance – Ensuring all laser shows meet local regulations (Subject to geological location).
✔ Collaboration with Production Teams – Working alongside lighting, audio, and video crews for synchronized timecode shows.
Ideal Candidates Should Have:
- Experience with laser show equipment (Kvant, RTI, Tarm, Pangolin etc.).
- Knowledge of DMX, Art-Net, & Show Control Systems (Pangolin, Mad Mapper/Laser.
- Familiarity with laser safety standards (LSO certifications a plus).
- Ability to travel (some events require on-site support).
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
